After I graduated I headed to Michigan State University to study Physiology and was inspired by our family dentist to consider dentistry. I was accepted into the University of Michigan Dental School in 2002. Graduating in May of 2006, life went full speed ahead. I married my wife Mollie, whom I met at MSU, moved back to our hometown in Grand Rapids, and began my career at Grand Rapids Dental Partners.” “Mollie and I have 3 boys. Carter was born in 2010, Beckett in 2012, and Eli in 2013. It amazes me how different all three are. Carter is our athlete who loves rock climbing, soccer, basketball, and anything Legos. Beckett is a true sweetheart who puts me to shame in front of a basketball hoop and also is the biggest MSU basketball fan I know. Eli, our youngest, just recently started downhill skiing on his own and loves animals any size. As a family, we enjoy heading up north, usually to the Torch Lake area. Our family time is most often spent on a boat in the summer, or a ski hill in the winter. Life is an adventure and I look forward to the continued memories that will be coming my way. I love dentistry, because I like making people happy with their smile again.
B.S., Biomedical Science, Grand Valley State University | University of Illinois – Chicago College of Dentistry Dr. Cindy Neumann and her husband, Ted, met while attending Grand Valley State University and later married in 2017. They reside in Holland along with their English Bulldog, Otis. While in Chicago, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois. Upon graduating, she practiced family dentistry while in Chicago and had the opportunity to work in public health. Dr. Neumann looks forward to meeting the patients and families at Grand Rapids Dental Partners and providing them with personalized dentistry, using the cutting-edge technology available at the practice.
B.S., Biology University of Detroit Mercy |University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry I grew up in St. Joseph, Michigan, and attended the University of Detroit Mercy for both undergrad and dental school, completing my degree in 2013. I have worked as a dentist in West Michigan for over 10 years. I married my high school sweetheart after dental school, and we have lived in Grand Rapids since then. We have two boys (Tatum and Jayden) and enjoy camping, fishing, sports, and exploring all the unique places West Michigan offers. My passion for dentistry has been shaped by my own need for some extensive dental work after an accident when I was younger. Going through the process of being a patient myself and experiencing most aspects of dentistry firsthand, has driven me to help others get through those same challenges. Seeing dentistry from a different perspective has allowed me to refine my compassion and empathy for each and every one of my patients.
I have been a hygienist at GRDP for most of my career. I am proud of the care and service we provide our patients, but am most honored to have developed long-term relationships with so many of them. Building trust and respect is the key to helping people achieve and maintain good oral health. In my time away from the office, I love to travel. There are so many places and things I hope to experience!
I have been a dental hygienist at GRDP for most of my career. I regard my patients as my family and love the relationships that we have built over the years. My husband, Skip, and I have two children, and are blessed to have both of them living in the area. I love to be active and spend as much time outside as possible. Also, I love to bake and have a “hobby business.” Dental hygiene has been such a great career choice. I am thankful that I have had such an awesome dental home for so many years.
Getting to help patients who have dental anxiety become comfortable in the office is my favorite part of working at GRDP and being a hygienist. I graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2013 and have worked for GR Dental Partners for 8 years. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my husband, camping, and golfing.
The personal connections I have with my patients are what I love most about dentistry. I graduated from GRCC in 2019 and started at GRDP in 2020. My husband and I have been married for 22 years and we have three sons together. Crocheting and reading are two things I enjoy most outside of dental. I am incredibly proud of reinventing my career at almost 40. I graduated from college on the Dean’s list and showed my sons what hard work and dedication can accomplish.
Working as a dental hygienist at GRDP has truly taught me the value of kindness. Getting to meet all kinds of people has truly opened my eyes to new things. My family and church are a huge part of my life outside of working. Reading and outdoor games are a couple of activities that I enjoy. When attending Unity Christian High School, I was able to go to the Careerline Tech Center for dental careers. I then went on to earn my associate’s degree in applied science for dental hygiene at Ferris State University.
I have been working with GRDP for 33 years! I graduated from Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City with an Associates in Applied Science in Dental Assisting. I have loved working to help build this practice, getting to know our patients, and delivering high-quality dentistry. My family lives Up North, so we spend much time there. I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, finding new nature walks, and feeding and observing birds, squirrels, and all wildlife.
I have been at GRDP for 7 years now and graduated from the dental assisting program at GRCC in 1992. Working in dental for 33 years has been a huge accomplishment for me and getting to help patients with their dental needs has been so rewarding. My family is very important to me. I love spending time with my two grown children, along with gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
I have been at GRDP now for three years, but have been in dentistry for 40 years. I have two grown daughters and a granddaughter. Spending time with my family is very important to me. Outside of my life at GRDP, playing euchre with friends and visiting breweries, and trying craft beers is something I enjoy. Providing exceptional dental treatment to our patients and the camaraderie of our team are a couple of things I like most about my job at GRDP.
I became a Registered Dental Assistant at GRDP in August of 2023 but have been subbing at the office since November of 2022. I graduated in 2017 from GRCC, where I completed their RDA program. My favorite part of this job is meeting with new patients and working alongside the amazing team members here at the office. I like to spend my time outside of work outdoors, traveling, swimming, kayaking, and playing board games with my two children, Giselle and Cristian!
I am the referral specialist here at GRDP. I started out in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2011, but have been at GRDP since 2023. The best part about working here is that you will always be greeted with a smile and exit with a great conversation, and of course, a cookie! Outside of working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and five kiddos! We are always staying busy, between 4 H animals, fixing cars, or just chasing our 3 youngest around. There’s never a dull moment. When we have time to ourselves, we enjoy car shows and spending time in the barn with our chickens, goats, and rabbits.
Abby joined the team in June 2021 and is currently attending LCC. In her free time, she loves off-roading in a Jeep and trying new food! Going on walks with her dog, Banjo is Abby’s favorite pastime. One of the best parts about working at Grand Rapids Dental Partners, she says, is the ability to socialize with patients and co-workers. She also mentioned the “welcoming atmosphere” and the space for “teamwork and positive attitudes” as features that make her work life great.
I have been the treatment coordinator at GRDP since 2023 and started in the dental world in 2022. Getting to work alongside Dr. Smith and seeing the clinical side of dentistry has been a highlight of my job. Creating long-lasting relationships and getting the opportunity to inform patients of their insurance and dental needs has been so rewarding. My husband, Hadley, and I enjoy walking the pier in Grand Haven, spending time with our church community, and a good iced chai latte.
Working in dentistry for 54 years has come with many great memories. I have been at GRDP for 11 years now. In addition to my long career in dentistry, I am proud to be an advanced master gardener. My husband and I enjoy a yard surrounded by perennial gardens and spending time with our two grown sons and grandchildren. Getting to see patients regain their confidence in their smile has been a huge reward.
Helping patients and getting to hear different stories is one of my favorite things about the dental industry. I started working at GR Dental Partners in 2023 and have enjoyed every second. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, golfing, and trying new spots in downtown Grand Rapids. Spending time with my family is also a huge part of my life. I am studying to receive a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Davenport University.
I have been blessed to work in the dental field for over 30 years, and am currently working part-time at the front desk in the office. My favorite part of the job is getting the opportunity to meet our wonderful patients and their families. It’s truly such a joy to be a part of the GRDP family, and I love encouraging our patients to look forward to their next appointments with us! When I’m not working, you can most likely find me spending time with my amazing family! My husband and I enjoy camping, biking, kayaking, and keeping up with our five beautiful grandchildren.
Dentistry has been an incredibly rewarding career choice for me, and being a part of the GRDP team has been the highlight! My husband and I enjoy Michigan summers, golfing, camping, backroad Jeep rides, and time with our kids and grandkids!
